Volvo Penta had Applied Concepts Unleashed design a unique vessel as their company show piece. Knowing Applied Concepts and Steve French have designed more custom sportfishing yachts with Volvo IPS Pod drives than anyone else, Volvo felt confident in Applied Concepts Unleashed being their go to designers for this vessel built by Spencer Yachts. By this time, Spencer Yachts and Applied Concepts Unleashed have designed and built multiple vessels in collaboration with each other using Volvo IPS Pod Drives that both also felt confident they could achieve the design, interior layout, and engine room layout that Volvo Penta was dreaming about. That dream became a reality and the Volvo company couldn’t be happier. The Spencer 70′ enclosed is called “Pentagone”
